Description

A 3-5 player trick taking game designed for small children. In this game, players receive 3 cards, choose one to keep, one to pass to the player on their left, one to pass to the player on their right, then draw a card. Cards are numbered 1-35. Players only work through this small deck once, receiving a total of 6-8 cards. After the trick taking phase, end game scoring is resolved based on the various vegetables collected from Mr. McGregor's garden. Players receive a unique character which effects scoring opportunities. Among these, Mr. McGregor, who wants to collect one of each vegetable in his garden and cause the animals to lose their collections of vegetables; Peter Rabbit who prefers carrots and attempts to retrieve his coat from Mr. McGregor's scarecrow; Benjamin Bunny who is likewise attempting to retrieve Peter's coat but prefers onions; Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail, (played by 1 player) who try to collect 3 vegetables of any kind; and Timmy Willie and Johnny Townmouse (played by one player), who can trade vegetables with other players and want to lose all of their vegetables to Mr. McGregor. This exciting and chaotic romp through Mr. McGregor's garden also features other original characters created by Beatrix Potter, including Squirrel Nutkin and Old Brown, Mrs. Tiggywinkle, and Jeremy Fisher. The game also includes a variant for amall children, and a simple 2 player variant. To play the game, you will need a means to keep score. -description from designer
