from the introduction: This adventure for Barbarians of Lemuria and Index Card RPG is an exercise in survival and heroism. The heroes of this adventure start off with nothing, cast ashore in an unknown land populated by natural and supernatural dangers and is likely to build to a literal battle for survival against ferocious Ape-men. While it is possible to use this adventure for existing characters it is perhaps more useful as a one- shot or a campaign-starter as established characters may push back against the opening where they awake unarmed and in danger without warning. Some players may like that, others may not so judge your group accordingly.
