From the introduction: Beamswords and Bazookas is a tabletop role-playing game about mech pilots at the brink of World War III. Players will create a character and guide this character through harrowing adventures. When these characters attempt to do something dangerous, players will roll dice to see if they are successful or not. One player, referred to as the gamemaster, will narrate the situation, play as the opposition, and guide the pace of the game. Together, all the players will create a story and play through it in real time. Winning is nice, but the goal of this game is to experience a compelling adventure that’s created collectively with your friends.
