Publisher's blurb: Frozen sheets of ice coat this steel mining rig, perched in the middle of a glacial chasm. Darkness waits below, while the leftover fires of battle burn despite the frigid air. Crystals of ice form in the stiff bodies of the dead, their pools of blood freezing quickly. Fingers here soon grow rigid and numb with cold. Beards and eyebrows become leaden with heavy frost, while noses begin to sting from the harsh kiss of the elements.
