User summary: One of the very first games for the Playstation, Toshinden was a 3D fighting game using bitmap polygons. Compared to Virtua Fighter, the first 3D fighting game, Toshinden's playing style was closer to the 2D style of fighting games than Virtua Fighter, including for example ranged attacks. The game was afterwards ported to the Sega Saturn, with the suffix "S".
