Bastard Magic

From publisher blurb: Also called hand magic, urchin magic, or thief’s tricks. Bastard magic is not that of dusty, ancient tomes, nor is it the natural and strange magic of spirits. It is dirty, practical and occult. By marking a person’s hand with tattoos, ritual scars and burns, or allowing it to be mutated by toxins, the hand gains some small influence beyond the reach of ordinary mortals. These markings are reviled in polite society, and betray the bearer to any guards or establishment officials as a heretic and a thief. A new take on cantrips, level one spells, or an entirely different magic system – existing separate from your own or replacing it. For use and misuse in your home fantasy game.
