User summary The Basic Roleplaying Quick-Start Edition is a free PDF that contains everything needed to play BRP, basically a select subset of the full rules: Character creation: No major changes. All skills are there. Task resolution: Three possible roll results: Special Success > Success > Failure. Critical Success and Fumble are omitted. Combat: Damage is much simplified; unconscious at 2HP remaining and dead at 0HP. Magic, super-powers and the like were also omitted. Complete with seven one-location adventures and a blank character sheet (two sides).
