Barsoom

From the Introduction: Kaor! Welcome to the wondrous, savage world of Barsoom! To fans of Edgar Rice Burroughs, the name conjures majestic, dreamlike vistas of a dying planet glowing with barbaric splendor and rife with adventure. Barsoom is Burrough's fictional version of the planet Mars; a planet well past its prime, its oceans gone, its atmosphere slowly leaching away, its peoples on their last leg of life. This is the world wandered in by Burrough's hero John Carter, the Earthman mysteriously transported to the Red Planet, where every moment's survival is secured only by wits and sword. This worldbook is an adaptation of Barsoom for Cineflex.
