User summary: In Barquest! characters have four Attributes: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Psychological/Psychic. Each Attribute has an associated numeric value from 1-8, randomly generated. Each Attribute has a further Skill (selected form a list of four per Attribute) associated with it, in which the character particularly is useful. The game takes place entirely inside of a medieval drinking establishment, with "quests" being things like gambling, dancing, or defending a woman's honor. The game uses random floor tile placement to create the bar, then the game master fills it with non-player characters. The game provides numerous pre-generated characters to further speed play.
