Bandits

From the introduction: You have been requested by the Baron Vinny boom Bah to help destroy a troop of bandits. He is unable to remove them due to a lack of manpower, and so is willing to pay for your services. He is offering 1000 gp each (plus whatever treasure the bandits have) as a reward. There are also rewards for the return (alive) of several missing merchants captured by the bandits. You are not the first group to venture forth to fight the bandits. Two weeks ago a powerful warrior and a small band of mercenaries ventured forth, but have not been heard from. The bandits are suspected to be based in an abandoned farming town about three and a half days' ride on a disused road. Good luck. User summary: A straight-forward scenario focused on solution through combat; recommended for mid-level characters.
