User Summary Backyard Baseball '09 is another in the Backyard Baseball series. It utilizes much of the other games' gameplay and style, including the use of famous MBL players in their cartoony child form. Players can draft their own teams using a list of characters with pre-set abilities or make their own characters. Then, the team may be entered to play single games or a host of series games where scores are recorded for individual characters and not the team itself. Backyard Baseball '09 features David "Big Papi" Ortiz on the cover and includes a new gametype: Home Run Derby.
