What about kingdom? Would it be fair to say kingdom?3 City? Town? Unused fields between the town and the surrounding hills? As I was saying, a few years ago something significant happened, but apparently no one noticed. The random and wildly unsuccessful Kobold raids that the town routinely endured suddenly stopped. It was assumed that, since their raids were wildly unsuccessful, the Kobolds had turned to easier prey, like maybe each other – and hopefully had eaten themselves into extinction. Since the raids were more nuisance than threat, the town quickly forgot if they ever really happened. Soon, stories about Kobolds became funny anecdotes and bedtime legends. Everyone forgot about the mean ol’ Kobolds (they even made funny little games about them). Everyone forgot about them, that is, except George.
