From the introduction: Awakenings is an introductory adventure for the Proteus Roleplaying Game. It is designed to introduce new players to Proteus and give their characters a starting point in the world of Ad Tair. Awakenings is a relatively short adventure that takes place over an hour or two of game time. It can probably be played in a couple of hours depending on the number of players and how much they interact with each other. At the beginning of the adventure, the characters awaken to find that they have no memory of who they are or their current location.
