ARPLE: All-purpose Role Playing Logistics Engine

User summary: ARPLE: All-purpose Role Playing Logistics Engine is made freely accessible on the web as a series of documents which can be viewed either as HTML or downloaded in Wordperfect (.WPD), Rich Text Format (.RTF), or Word (.DOC) format. The ARPLE system is an attempt to create a universal mechanic that can be utilized in any genre by players at any experience level. The introduction states "ARPLE is not, however, a revolution in roleplaying games. Rather, it is a return to the basics...". Even though a generic and universal system was a principle design goal, the system is clearly set in a fantasy milieu. The system does use d6, d8, and d10, but the d6 is nearly exclusively used (and can be exclusively used).
