User Summary Ancients II: Approaching Evil is the sequel to Ancients I: Deathwatch. It plays the same way, with the player creating or using pre-made characters and venturing about the lands of Lockshire. The party travels about the game world which is grid-like and full of random encounters of hostile creatures and treasures. Characters have health and magic alongside their spells and abilities that are of the flavour of Dungeons and Dragons. The storyline is not directly linked to the previous game, though players may import their party.
