The purpose is to link together a series of tabletop battles in a framework that provides players with reasons for fighting battles beyond the mere presence of the enemy. Victory goes to the side best able to meet their objectives and not merely who wins the tactical battles. Anaconda: Capital Navies is designed for use with any set of tabletop ACW naval war game rules. The game requires but does not include; dice, miniatures and tactical rules for resolving combat on the tabletop. Anaconda: Capital Navies is NOT compatible with Anaconda.
