User summary: Part 1 includes pages 1 - 27 and deals primarily with d20 Rule Changes and Campaign History. This early version of the Amethyst campaign setting was published as a conceptual "single volume" in five pieces (to manage document size). Each piece included numerous color graphics, and pagination was continuous. Amethyst is an RPG conversion utilizing d20 System / OGL Product (D&D 3.5 Compatible). Some elements of d20 Modern are incorporated; however, that system is not required to play.
