All Around the Town

From PDF Introduction The Speaker in Dreams Web Enhancement CITY ADVENTURING While The Sunless Citadel and Forge of Fury led characters into dungeons, The Speaker in Dreams takes place entirely in the city of Brindinford. The characters still face terrible evil and horrible monsters, but the environment itself is less outright hostile-and somehow more frightening exactly because of that. In The Speaker in Dreams, the monsters are not tucked away in a remote dungeon. Instead, they lurk behind the everyday faces of an everyday place, hide behind the bustle of a street fair, strike when least expected, and transform the ordinary city into a place of terror.
