The Alabaster Palace was built in the Elemental Chaos as an earth genie retreat and neutral meeting place away from the dao home, the Great Dismal Delve in the Elemental Plane of Earth. The palace is carved into a mountainous island of stone called an earth mote, hovering in the Elemental Chaos. Visitors arrive upon this stable earth mote using an appropriate planar portal and a portal key, usually a small topaz, or by the plane shift spell. Otherwise, the Elemental Chaos makes physical travel to the location impossible except to natives and skilled chaos shapers. User summary: For 11th - 14th level characters.
