From the introduction: Once upon a time, there was a girl by the name of Tatsuki Arisawa. She was a fighter, a tomboy, protective of her friends, and the second strongest girl in all of Japan. One day she noticed that a friend of hers, Orihime Inoue, was drifting away from her, speaking to her less and less, not showing up to school, and not even at home when Tatsuki went to check.
