The two maps in this expansion were originally published by John Bohrer / Winsome Games in two other expansions with paper maps. - The Southern US Expansion was originally published as part of Age of Steam Expansions: Southern US & Pittsburgh (2007) - The Western US Expansion was originally published as part of Age of Steam Expansion #2: Western United States and Germany (2003 1st edition, 2nd edition is on game board stock but has printing errors) The maps for this expansion are printed on normal boardgame stock - not mere paper. Rules are included but you will need the base Age of Steam game to play. Map Descriptions Southern US expansion map - Ranges from New Orleans to Raleigh and from Memphis to Jacksonville. - 3-6 players Western US: - Special rules involving transcontinental networks - Towns start with goods cubes that are lost when the town is urbanized - New terrain: swamps - 3-6 players
