User summary: Adventures in the Classroom: Creating Role-Playing Games Based on Traditional Stories for the High School Curriculum is a thesis presented at East Tennessee State University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Master of Arts in Reading. While much of the thesis consists of summary research into the methodologies and outcomes of educational-based roleplaying, three of the thesis' appendices contain complete roleplaying games, all using a common basic system ("General Game System") but developed to fit specific genres and themes.
