Publisher's blurb: Aspiring Adventurers explore the wild jungle as they learn a simplified version of OpenD6. Build your character while reading the story and learning how to use attributes to perform actions. This game is a solo game for kids using a storyline adventure with the OpenD6 gaming system. I have broken the rules down, simplified them, and separated them into different sections for Adventure Academy. Part 1 is the very basic rules kids need to play the story line adventure game that comes with it or you could have an adult act as Game Master to play with multiple kids. Part 2 (coming soon) will add skills and combat. The gameplay instructions are incorporated into the story. Kids start out in Adventure Academy, where a brief, “Hello” and then are whisked into the jungle, where their own house and backyard used to be. Once they get a look around, back to Adventure Academy to build a character and then learn how to perform actions with that character. Once the Adventurers learn the basics, they finish the storyline adventure through the jungle.
