User summary: This item presents scores of precious and semi-precious gemstones for use in any game. Each entry has a description and a color photograph. An included table presents pricing for each gem in several conditions, from unfinished to perfect. Also included is information on standard gemstone cuts, traditional gemstone "special" qualities and suggestions for gemstone use in the game as components in magic spells and items. Although the item is targeted directly at 2nd Edition, the contents are generic enough to be applicable to any version of Dungeons & Dragons and/or any of the various clones.
