The rules were designed as an ancient variant for On to Richmond American Civil War Miniature Rules primarily focusing on Roman, Gauls and some late Greek Successor States. Complete rules for organization, operations, combat values, movement, fire power, melee, and morale are included. Also, special units and conditions of the period, such as elephants, chariots and war engines are covered. This expansion for On to Richmond American Civil War Miniature Rules was first published as an article in Vol. VIII, No. 1 of The Courier magazine (1987).
