A rocket-launching math board game to boost understanding of integers, operations and absolute value for grades 6 through 8. Absolute Blast is played with a custom deck of cards and a player board for each player. The deck is made up of positive and negative numbers in 3 different colors, modifiers, and action cards. The player boards each have 3 rockets which need to be launched. Each player has a hand of 5 cards, and players take turns playing cards onto any open space on any player board. The goal of the game is to have the sum of the absolute values of your rockets be greater than any other player.
