A Hero's Death

From publisher blurb: A Hero’s Death is an expansion to any fantasy roleplaying game, allowing gamemasters and PCs to track their characters’s heroism and write appropriate finales. This system works for any fantasy game, including modern rules systems and OSR games. The system uses points to track a character's relevance to the game world. Upon their death, the character gets a ceremony befitting their heroism. It is as straight-forward as it sounds. Simple and clean, it works for all fantasy game systems from 1st ed to new OSR to 4th and beyond.
