Some locals attribute the forest’s favor to the dryad Ilex, though few have seen her recently. Ilex has been captured by vile fey who seek to turn the dryad’s forest into a dismal swamp. The characters eventually track the evil fey to a cave under a hill dotted with fairy rings.
