A Familiar Story

From the introduction: For years, Role-Playing Games have offered players the chance to inhabit the roles of mighty heroes – hardened warriors, powerful wizards, clever thieves and wise clerics. In the grandest traditions of fantasy stories, they have engaged in epic adventures in which they overcome evil and save the world. This is not one of those games. In this RPG, the role you take on is that of the ever-suffering underdog – the lowly and humble familiar, upon whose tiny backs all those heroes have risen to glory.
