From Introduction: The bonfire is as big as a house. The ash and smoke covers everything, stinging your eyes and blurring your vision. The only villagers you find are dead. In the centre of the town, a Wolftusk raider (most likely the warband’s leader) is quietly admiring the devastation. Others are surely nearby, likely picking through the ruins. Felstead is (was) not a big village, perhaps home to a dozen or so families. All of them are missing, save the grisly corpses on the fire. You were hoping to stop here to catch some rest and supplies. That will not be the case now.
