2400: Legends

Publisher blurb: Legends say when the Otherworld threatened the Firmament, The Lord DEUS bade us take up steel and spell, defend the weak, and prove even the lowliest knave could someday be a Legend. Legends is a super-slim, self-contained RPG about warriors, mages, clerics, and rogues questing in a medieval fantasy world. It's 3 pages and a cover, fitting on two sides of a letter-sized page. It's part of the 2400 series of micro RPGs — lo-fi sci-fi modules that might all be in the same setting, unless they aren't. Check out the free Inner System Blues for a sample, and the free Emergency Rules supplement for additional guidance on combat and pacing for a game without "hit points". Legends includes minimalist interpretations of classic fantasy spells, rules-light class "talents", and tables for quests, locations, encounters, and treasures.
