User Summary: The sequel to arcade hit 1942, 1943: The Battle Of Midway features similar vertical scrolling shooter gameplay. Putting the players in control of a P-38 fighter, the game consists of 16 levels leading up to an attack on the Japanese battleship Yamato. Where the previous game provided multiple lives to each player, 1943 uses a hit point system with a single life per play.
