Description

Publisher Blurb: Floors. All dungeons will have them at some point. In some cases, the floors may be important, relevant or dangerous. In others, the floors will simply be scenery. This supplement has 100 different floors that can be used within a dungeon to flesh out a room. Some of them may appear important or puzzling, but none have any game effect unless the GameMaster decides otherwise. This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier. Here are some sample results: The floor is covered in roiling lava that is emitting dangerous levels of heat. There are a number of hexagonal basalt stepping stones sticking just above the lava’s surface. The floor is covered with limestone flags that are dirty with age and bear the marks of extensive wear, with paths running between the doorways. The floor is covered in at least a foot of tiny stone balls, all exactly 0.5” in diameter and painted bright red. The balls made footing uncertain and difficult to move through, as well as making quite a lot of noise when they are crossed. The floor is made from bones that have been carefully carved and shaped so that they join together without a gap, then the tops smoothed to make a flat surface. Many different sizes and shapes of bones from many different creatures can be found. The floor is made from rectangular cobbles, all 1’ long by 6” wide. The cobbles are in two different shades, a dark grey and a light grey. These have been formed into a spiral, which starts at the edge of the room and spirals into the centre. One page is the front cover and one the front matter.
