This list is for any dark future game setting where body banks / tissue technology is common. Tissues in transit can last in refrigeration for 6 to 30 hours before spoiling and becoming dead meat. Freezing any tissue kills the living cells immediately, rendering it worthless. Clinic and Body Banks have the technology to preserve organs indefinitely without freezing them. They can match organs with recipients with a minimal chance of rejection (0% if they match the sex and ethnic gene pool (Africa, South Asia, Central America, etc.) or 3d6% if they don’t). Organs with a donor card can be sold to a legal clinic (no questions asked) who will pay a fee (starting at 2d6 x 100 credits with decreases/increases for rare or highly valued tissues). Without a donor card, organs can only be sold on the black market or to corporations (thanks to legal loop-holes). Sculpted organs have already undergone gene therapy to esthetically and anatomically improve them, and these organs are typically worth twice as much. For internal organs, typically larger sections are collected (e.g. a pelvis to harvest a groin).
