Description

Publisher Blurb: Books can be a source of useful and important knowledge, but libraries are not filled with books that can be described as such. Shelves will also hold books that are less useful; religious tracts, legends, histories, biographies, memoirs, scientific works and fiction. This supplement adds 100 different books that a GameMaster can use to flesh out a bookshelf. All the titles apart from proper names, are given in English, even though the authors hail from the different countries of the Crescent Empire, for ease of use. Whether or not an individual book has anything useful in-game is up to the GM; books can be founts of misinformation as well as knowledge. This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier. Reports of the Divan by Enis ibn Mümin (An extremely boring collection of the deliberations of the Imperial Divan that are considered to be suitable for the general population) Rise of the Assassins by Ghoncheh Katayounzedeh (A book claiming to reveal the origins of the Assassins and how they rose in power) Sacred and Secular by David ben Zev M’Shevet Nephelen (The architectural practices and marvels, both sacred and secular, found within the various nations of the Crescent Empire) Shah Korvash and the Most Noble Empire by Roshanara Fereshtehzedeh (A biography of the founder of the Haxāmanišiya Empire and a history of its early years) Shah Tehmasib and the Founding of the Ilmān Corps by Khashayarsha Dārayavahushzedeh (How the sixteenth century shah of Persis founded the Ilmān as a counterpart to the Janissaries, and the various battles the corps has been involved in over the years) One page is the front cover, one the front matter and one is mostly blank.
