Description

Publisher Blurb: This is a collection of genuine books suitable for modern setting (or the post-apocalyptic aftermath of a modern setting) that can be used to flesh out a bookshelf, so that a GameMaster can give examples of what books can be found if players ask. The books cover a range of subjects broadly related to business, investment and finance. Each book gives the name, author(s), publication date and some brief details on its contents. The books range in publication dates from the beginning of the 20th century to the 21st, with the majority being at the latter end of the 20th century and later. This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier. Here are some sample results: The Age of Unreason by Charles Handy (1989, how things have changed, how education will need to change in order to handle it and what type of organisations will thrive, one being one that uses predominately outsiders and part-timers, another federal and a third intelligence based) The Art of Japanese Management by Richard Pascale and Anthony Athos (1981, why Japanese production was better due to managerial skill and vision and the Seven S framework, strategy, structure, skills, staff, shared values, system and style) The Behavior Gap: Simple Ways to Stop Doing Dumb Things with Money by Carl Richards (2012, avoiding common mistakes when it comes to investing, use your money more effectively and investing both your money and time more wisely) One page is the front cover and one the front matter.
