Gamers.Online Tournament XP: Looking back: a memorable night of Rolling Realms
The first-ever online tournament on Gamers.Online!
Hey everyone! On June 22nd, we made history with the first-ever online tournament hosted through Gamers.Online. This event was a big deal, bringing together a fantastic community of gamers for a night of fun, competition, and the chance to win the awesome game Confusing Lands by Envy Born Games.
The tournament experience
The tournament went incredibly well, with people joining in from both YouTube and TikTok, which added a cool dynamic to the event. I had an absolute blast hosting it. There were so many memorable moments, but one that stands out is the final round where we kept rolling low numbers. It made everyone a bit nervous about their final scores, but in the end, the scores were surprisingly high, which was hilarious and added a fun twist to the night.
Gamers.Online worked like a charm, and everyone managed to join without any hiccups. We even had a few latecomers who got in on the action without a hitch, showing just how user-friendly the platform is.
Gameplay and competition
We had 8 active participants who were really into the conversation, and a total of 163 people tuned in to watch the live stream. It was awesome to see such a diverse group come together to enjoy the game. Among them were two newbies to Rolling Realms, bringing some fresh energy to the strategies and to the competition.
The competition was both fierce and super fun. There were some impressive strategies going on, and the standout moment was when one of the first-time players clinched the victory. It was a fantastic surprise and really showed how great Rolling Realms is for both experienced players and total newcomers.
Winners and prizes
Ben was the big winner of the night, taking home both the tournament win and the Confusing Lands giveaway price. His reaction was priceless – he was absolutely thrilled to snag both prizes, which was great to see and of course well deserved.
Future plans
Right now, there aren’t any specific plans for another tournament, but I’m definitely open to the idea. The success of this event shows there’s a strong community eager for more chances to connect and compete. So, stay tuned for future events – there’s definitely more fun to come!
Personal reflections
Hosting my first online tournament was a great experience. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous about the live format since there are no do-overs, and talking to a camera for 45 minutes straight can be daunting. But it turned out to be a lot of fun, and the interactive chat made it feel like we were all playing together. It was a personal highlight to see everyone come together and enjoy the game as a community.
Sponsors and support
A huge shoutout to Gamers Online and Envy Born Games for their amazing support. Their contributions were key to making this tournament a success, and I can’t thank them enough for their generosity.
Keep an eye out for future events, and get ready for more opportunities to join in the fun and show off your gaming skills. Whether you’re aiming for the top spot or just looking to have a good time, our tournaments are all about bringing people together and having a blast. I can’t wait to see you all at the next exciting event!
